We've all walked around New york trying to find the rivington club shop. Got to be the best trainer shop around for interior design and contents. The Alife shop in La is good too. It's on Fairfax avenue. That's if it's still there. I was there a couple of years ago.

Phil Lynott

Thin Lizzy were my youth.Skin tight white jeans.Baseball boots and a Lizzy T shirt. That was my look around 1979/80. Glad to say I saw them play at Liverpool Empire a couple of times. Now and then I listen to some Lizzy. Still sounds good.

Phil was a massively talented songwriter. Shame he went early. Lots of Bands are referencing them now. Kings of Leon most recently.

John Scarisbrick

I was forced to use John Scarisbrick by Pepe jeans whilst I was at Leagas Delaney. The client thought They had a better knowledge of Fashion photography than us. Not sure that was the case, but whatever! When I first met John he was wearing a Tommy Hilfiger Baseball cap and was talking like a hip hop artist, even though he is Swedish! I think he's been shooting a lot of Hip hop guys and some of the language had rubbed off on him. Anyway, we got on well. We both have an interest in contemporary art. We have continued to keep in touch over the years, whenever he is in town he calls me up and we have dinner or something. Interesting guy. I love his photography. He has an odd side to him which I like. The stuff which he is renowned for,the jumping around energetic stuff is great. (I loved the Prodigy Face cover he shot.) But I like his odd fashion stuff the best.
